Companion Care

Life slows down a bit as we age. We now have more time at our disposal to socilaize but would need help to plan social activities around everything else we have going on. Whether you live across the country or across the street from your aging family members, it helps to know they have someone nearby who can be there for senior companion care purposes

Greater Home Health Services offers a wide variety of home health services including in-home companion care to assist seniors, new and expectant parents, and other individuals that may need extra help around the house.  GHHS provides the necessary assistance needed at home to maintain a safe and independent lifestyle.  GHHS Companions are available on an as-needed basis, with no minimum time constraints. They ensure you or your loved one receives the attention and care required.

Greater Home Health Services Companion Care services include, but are not limited to the following*:
  •  Social events and friend visits
  • Helping start and end the day (getting out of and into bed, dressing)
  • Reminder services (medications, dates, routines, etc.)
  • Assisting with mobility
  • Preparing meals and feeding
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Performing light housekeeping
  • Running errands (grocery shopping, etc.)
  • Organizing and reading mail
  • Personal correspondence and memoirs
  • Assisting with pet care
  •  Gardening
  • Home safety evaluation
